Tongue Tied?

Boden has been sick this last week, and finally has past it! He is such a good boy I don't think others would really notice that he is sick. Except for the awful cough he had. While we were cooped up inside I caught him doing this all day long.....quite hilarious!

Bo had to get a shot. He is so tough
He is so good natured you can barely tell he is sick, but when he is sick I get extra hugs from my lil man.
Tour of the remodeling of BYU-Idaho

We found this cute little hat in the bookstore as we were touring the new buildings and showing Brady's parents around. How cute is that?

Swimming for the 1st time

Brady's parents came through as they came back from conference and stayed a couple days with us. We decided to go swimming and take Bo because he's never been. He absolutely loved it!
Bo ready to go in his new suit!
Riding in the elevator down to the pool
Daddy and Boden
Bo and Grandma Kenworthy
Boden's FAVORITE place.

Boden loves to sit on the back of the couch and look out the window. It is seriously so cute how he just sits there and looks out the window...probably dreaming of what it will be like to go outside when it finally decides to get warm.
I LOVE this picture

Kelsi's BABY shower

We threw Kels her "friend" baby shower and it was so much fun. She looks so cute as a little pregnant mama to be come May. She'll be a great mom, her kids are definitely in for a real treat with a mother like her.
Devri's BRIDAL Shower

Devri just had her bridal shower last week, she is just a joy to be around! She always makes you feel so good and is just so much fun. Congrats to her and Adam next week. Adam you're a lucky man, Im sure he knows that.

Girls Night minus 1

It has been forever since just us girls got together. I was sad Brooke couldn't make it because of previous arrangements, we'll catch her next time.
We went to dinner here....
and dessert here.....mmmmm so good!
It was a fun night that I think needs to be repeated more often!!

Sweet 16

I just couldn't help but post this! I don't know how this happened and how I got so sucked into all this "Jimmer" hype. I have to admit though that I just love watching him play...it's either that or I love watching Brady's reaction every time he makes a basket. :) I think we will just go ahead and say it's a bit of both!

(In case you can't tell thats Jimmer on the front)

This is just a cool link someone posted and I read it. It was pretty interesting to think about, makes me happy! It reminded me of my time at BYU-Idaho and how remarkable all the BYU colleges are.

Then and Now

My dad sent me and email that he had received a little bit ago and forwarded it on to us, it reminded him of some pictures he has of his parents. These first few pictures are America during the years 1935-1939. My grandparents would have been around their early 20's during this time. I always wonder what it will be like when my kids are as old as me or my grandkids....if this is back in the 1930's imagine what they will think of our time and how different it will be then.

This was just 70 years ago. Tagged on to the first photos it says...."Makes complaining about no cell service, high gasoline prices, not enough cable channels, seems a bit ludicrous." It is so true! How lucky we really are to live in a time where we do complain about stuff like that. I am so thankful that we have a home and all the things within it, especially the healthy little family we have. If we keep progressing like we have our children and their children will be blessed with so much. I think also though it will be a very different world, a lot scarier where more things are seen as unimportant. My sister called me yesterday and told me that on Yahoo there was a study done proving that people are happier without children. ???? Are you kidding me? What a boring life. I am sure you would travel and see a lot more and spend more money and time on yourself, but it is truly amazing the happiness family and children can bring you. It is a selfless act, not just because I have done it, but you do sacrifice a lot and much changes. It's funny because Brady and I will talk about old times and the single life sometimes and how we had not a care in the world. It is the simple pleasures now...like last night when we turned the music up and we were dancing with Boden. Brady and I were dancing with each other, but Boden attached at my hip, and both our arms around him watching him giggle and his whole face lighting up as we spun around the living room, or when we run to get the video camera out just so we can catch a sweet or hilarious moment. There are bitter sweets to everything, but I think family and children are the sweets and they outweigh all the bitterness that may pop up in your life or at least help you get through it....there is my inspirational thought for the day.

These next few photos are about 20 years later when my dad was born. Quite the contrast in
1955. The email put pictures along with comments people made back then.....All of us have thought something like it, but it is so different in the present.

'Its too bad things are so tough nowadays. I see where a few married women are having to work to make end meet.'
'Did you hear the post office is thinking about charging 7 cents just to mail a letter.'
'When I first started driving, who would have thought gas would someday cost 25 cents a gallon. Guess we'd be better off leaving the car in the garage'....ha ha that one makes me laugh.
'Did you see where some baseball player just signed a contract for $50,000 a year just to play ball? It wouldn't surprise me if someday they'll be making more than the President.'
'Have you seen the new cars coming out next year? It won't be long before $1,000 will only buy a used one.'
'No one can afford to be sick anymore. At $15.00 a day in the hospital, it's too rich for my blood.'
'Thank goodness I won't live to see the day when the Government takes half our income in taxes. I sometimes wonder if we are electing the best people to government.'

My New Wing Man

Boden goes everywhere with me, one because he has to and two because he loves being out and about. He is getting to be such a big boy. He sits in the cart now, and seriously I think he has the attitude of ..."Yes I am doing this, do you see me doing this? I am so big." It is so cute how he kicks his little legs as we roam around the stores. He is my little wing man everywhere we go! He keeps me company I love it.
He is starting to get really clingy to me and I like it. Yes, sometimes it is hard! The other night our neighbors were going to just put him to bed for us while we went to the temple and he was not having it. He was still awake when we got home, secretly Brady and I were happy so we could cuddle him for a bit. I just felt bad for the sitters. I had no idea he would do that. Today he pulled some of the DVDs over on himself, he was fine just whiney. I picked him up then Brady tried to take him and he leaned into me. It was so funny! We kept doing it and he repeatedly would not go to his Daddy. I finally set him on Brady for a minute and he started to whine. That is the pure joy of being the Mommy! He is just used to me comforting him for stuff like that, but oh man does he love to wrestle and play with Brady. It makes me melt!

A somewhat makeover of two

Yes it's true I got extensions. I however forgot to mention what I have to do now because I got them. I have to workout with Brady every night....which is good but oh so bad at the same time. Tony Horton you're on my bad side right now. We also had to dye my hair (which is not pictured) I am seriously just too cheap so I bought some mix and Lauren and Rachelle did it for me, they are my fun neighbors that we always hangout with. Instead of $50 it cost me $5. We had no idea what we were doing but surprisingly it worked out just perfect, someone even asked where I got my hair done. I so wish we would have taken pictures of the whole event....minus getting bleach in my eye.
Couch Makeover: This has been planned for months, but finally came together. I may still get some material and sew each of the back cushions individually.....we shall see.

Trip to Washington

Us in the Airport

Bo did so good on the plane. He just tried to make new friends the whole time. He fell asleep in my arms both times right before we started to descend. I got a little cuddle time which is fine by me, I swear I don't get enough!

We were so lucky because we got to see Luther, Brady's sister Kiley had her little baby the day we flew in! He was 8lbs 3oz and such a cutie! Here he is..........
Luther T. Daines
We got to go to Lindaman's. We celebrated Kiley having her baby with the family. It was so nice to see everyone and the Lindaman's was so GOOD!
Boden hanging with the girls
We also went night skiing at Spokane Mountain. It was so fun, I hadn't been for a couple years. My legs were burning....lol I'm so out of shape.

Bo playing the keyboard, he loves music.
Playing with Grandpa Kenworthy
Bo Bathing- He just warms my heart....seriously!

I have been pretty busy with pictures these last couple weeks. I did my friends little guy the other day ,so at the same time I did some of Boden. I have been meaning to for awhile now but just haven't gotten around to it. I swear he loves the camera it's hilarious. Here are just a couple of Bo, I need to get everyone else's done first then I'll work on Boden's session and post more!

I thought you were on your way.....
