What a SURPRISE!!!

We only have two more days until our new baby girl will be here, and since Boden has such an adventurous spirit...lol...we had to baby proof a few more things that have been driving us crazy before the baby comes. Our cabinets were all baby proofed but we missed these little drawers. Boden was sure to point them out to us pretty quick. He sure enjoys helping his dad. What a pair aren't they cute??!!!

Boden soon got bored and moved onto the movies....

Our son has quite the temper. Minus the snot and the dirty shirt he still looks pretty cute. I promise he does not look like a rugrat all the time.

Ok this is a side note I have been thinking of for quite awhile now. Boden has this cheesy smile he does, but it is slowly fading into this half face smile. It reminds me of the part on Juno where Juno points out the girl who makes a stink eye face at her...she is pictured below. Doesn't their facial expression look similar lol hahaha I am cracking myself up, while Brady just stares at me.

Now onto the best! We got a knock on the door while we were doing everything above when this huge package arrived. Brady carried it in and when I opened it this is what I found....A baby shower in a box! Is that not the cutest thing you have ever heard of???!!! Brady's mom, sisters, and aunts all sent me a baby shower in a box with gifts for Clara. I have to admit I teared up a bit. How thoughtful was that?! It was the sweetest thing. Clara is definitely set! Thanks so so so much girls!!!!

There was an outfit for Clara for when she is 12 months old, a tutu and a headband to match, I couldn't resist putting it on Boden to model. Brady just shook his head the entire time. Seriously though he is so pretty! lol

He didn't like the feel of the skirt he kept kicking his legs up and pulling on the skirt, Brady was sure glad to see him doing that and not enjoying it. lol

Bri gets married!

Yay! One of my best friends got married this last weekend! It was so fun to be apart of. Another photographer and I did all their pictures, I was afraid the baby would come and I would miss it, but she can come anytime now....literally. Brianne was a beautiful bride and their whole day and night was so amazing. Im so thankful I have her in my life. Love you bri!

37 weeks and Counting

We finally had our Doc apt today!!! Our Doctor wanted to do an ultra sound because I have been measuring large the last 4 appointments. Boden was 8lbs 3oz's when he was born and I never measured large once so our doctor wanted to get a better look. We laughed at the results. It turns out that our little baby girl is going to be a pretty big baby girl. Miss Clara is weighing in at 8lbs 11oz according to the ultra sound. Her belly alone is measuring larger than a full term baby and she is in the 97th percentile already. They said she would probably gain 1/2 lb per week which means they will induce me at exactly 39 weeks....or she'll come on her own before that. This pic just doesn't do it justice. I think it actually makes my belly look smaller, but we'll be waiting for her and in the meantime I'll just keep getting asked if I am having twins :) ha ha.

New Years 2012

Brady had to work this New Years so we headed out to Grandma and Grandpa Axlines to party with some cousins for a little while. Boden was super excited with all the music and fireworks the tv had on the early countdown.

Luckily Brady was able to be off work by 10:30. We watched the countdown, gave each other a New Year's Kiss, and went to bed. We didn't even open our Sparkling Cider, we have officially become old people.
