We started out last week with a visitor. Then a birthday, a hospital trip, a decision to move, and work. Brady's brother Blake came to stay last weekend, and Boden loves him! He calls him Bake, and that is literally all we heard ALL weekend. Here are some pictures of the amazingly warm weekend we had....
Uncle Blake (the visitor) walking Boden home from church
We got some priceless pictures of Clara. She is the sweetest thing.
The "Catch" game. They throw the ball up and catch it over and over again. Whenever Brady lays on the ground, Boden runs over to lay on his chest to play.

We were invited to Lacey's Birthday BBQ. It was so much fun! She didn't mention it was her birthday, just that it was a BBQ, she is in some big trouble for that! Don't worry we'll make up for it!
The Hospital Trip

Well after many calls to the clinic and some long waiting, we finally got a call back from them that gave us some pretty big news. They decided they would let Primary Childrens Hospital take care of Clara's belly button problem. I was so freaked out. They started to think it may be a urethral cyst of some sort, or something a little more serious then they wanted to handle. So we were directed to call Primary Childrens and get an apt. We did so and found ourselves packing up and driving to salt lake that night. We had an apt the next day with the urology dept. The doctor looked over the ultra sound and really examined her belly button and the "protruding defect" and was positive it was granulation tissue. Which is a mass of blood vessels that tried to help heal the belly button once the cord fell off, and the skin wasn't able to cover it fast enough. He thought it would be best if they removed it and stitched her up. Within the next hour they had her in a room and were doing just that. Phew!!!! I was so relieved that it was nothing more serious! There was a certain peace I had felt that day that everything would be alright and they would take care of her, and they did just that. She left with 2 or 3 itty bitty stitches. I keep saying I am going to take a picture of it when I am sponge bathing, or changing the dressing on it, but I keep forgetting! So far she acts like nothing has happened. She is the sweetest little baby on earth! We are so BLESSED!
The morning of the appointment (Clara catching some zzz's while Bo was trying out the hotel pool)
I love this picture- he loves swimming! He even pretends to swim on my mom and Scott's fireplace base that he always has to crawl up on.

We found the hospital, and right before we had a little bit of time to kill, so we took a stroll through some really rich neighborhoods. Wow.

Glad everything turned out ok- what a sweet little family you have! Good luck with the move!
