Nerves

This week has been a bit stressful and my nerves have been out of control. Today feels like things are finally starting to slow down. Here are the results:

Brady got a new job here:
Watch if you're wanting to know what it's about or visit http://gravityjack.com/ for more info

I am super excited for Brady, but all I can continue to say is "If" we move to Washington lol, when in actuality we most likely are...see I can't even admit to it right there.

Side note: We got a double jogger stroller/ bike trailer....Here are some fun pictures for a break in our results blog. If anyone has bought one of these and had a good or bad experience with them let me know!

ha ha ha he loves it, he calls it his bike

Today Destiny and Tayven came over to play. Destiny and I were talking when we heard Boden start crying. The boys were playing in Bo's room so we ran back there to see what was going on and this is what we found.....His curtains are really long, they go to the floor and he had wrapped himself up in them. lol He looks like a little mummy lol

Back to the results : /

After we were home from the hospital with Clara she started to develop a Cephalohematoma. Which is a hemorrhage ofblood between the skull and the periosteum of a newborn baby secondary to rupture of blood vessels crossing the periosteum. Because the swelling is subperiosteal its boundaries are limited by the individual bones, in contrast to a chignon

Basically it looks like this:

(not Clara's head, but this is what it looked like)

You can somewhat see it in this picture

It was the size of a baseball in the palm of our hands. Oh her poor head. The great news is that it is no longer present. They told us it could last years. After they did an ultra sound on her on Feb 22nd to make sure that that is all it was, that week it started to fade and then disappeared shortly after. The Dr was shocked at her 2 month check up that it was gone. We were so thankful that it was just a cephalohaematoma and blessed that it went away as fast as it did. I didn't get great pictures of it because it went away so fast, I thought I would have more time.

Onto the next result: This is what Clara's belly button has pretty much looked like since her cord fell off.
(again not a picture of her, but it looks identical)

We have been in the process for weeks trying to figure out what the problem is with it exactly. At first the doctors thought it may be just scar tissue that hadn't healed. A couple weeks went by and it still was leaking some type of substance and wasn't getting better, so we took her back in. We saw another doctor because our regular was out for the week, and he wanted to get an ultra sound done to see if there was a bigger problem. After the ultra sound no one would call us with results for a day and a half. I was about to go to the clinic in person. Not knowing was such a horrible feeling. By how the ultra sound tech and the doctor that reads them acted, I felt they knew something but couldn't tell us. Finally this afternoon our doctor called us and tried to explain the ultra sound to us. He said that there is an artery and blood vessel still tied up thru her belly button, and they wold want to try and cauterize it. He told me the name that it is sometimes under, but I can't even remember how to pronounce it. We'll know more on Monday, but we have definitely felt blessed that these problems that she has had haven't been more serious. Until then were going to try and stay as positive as possible, hoping nothing more will become of it.

Boden decided to take one of the eggs all the way apart

I wouldn't let him out of his seat so I could sweep up the mess and he threw a little fit, this was my favorite pose I got. lol He is dramatic at times. hahaha Every time I look at it I can't stop laughing.

Boden's new superman cape that Grandma and Grandpa Axline got him. I love it! It reminds me of Nacho Libre

Boden loves Clara's bouncer. He gets in it and rocks himself and looks at us like he knows he's not supposed to be in it. It is so adorable tho I let him.

Well that is a wrap to our easter weekend. We had a really yummy dinner too. That piano that we got Boden is already ruined. He likes to stand on the back of our couch and turn our heat way up, when I realized it was feeling warm and that he probably messed with the heat I went to turn it off, and then noticed his piano was right by the vent the whole time. Most of the keys were melted. It still plays, but he carries it around and just says broken over and over again. Also, he can now open every door in our house and loves flushing the toilet. Joy! Looks like we will need to make a run to the store and get those dang door knob things so he can't turn them or we're in trouble. Clara is still just as sweet as ever and loves to talk at you every chance you give her. The end.
